A Tour of the Sacred Metaphysical

Fiction has to be credible. Reality has no such obligation.

Why am I writing?

Well… because I have spent who knows how much time in the eating of books in my lifetime and I have put very little back to replace what I have taken.

At this point in the process, a contribution is called for.

I once met a man in the hills of Cappadocia, Turkey who told me, among other profound things, that we are here in this life to give what we are.

Only I can make this contribution…no other.

And for this reason I have come to this life. To do less would be a form of stealing.

Life and writers have given me such riches that I must return something now.

May their influence be felt. May life be enriched because of them…

You will read these stories against the backdrop of your own life…

Do not read these as you would an ordinary story... Consult them from time to time.

You don’t look at a beautiful face or form one time. You go back again and again to admire it, to drink in it’s various expressions, to enjoy its many angles.

I write so people can know what is possible...

I write to share experiences and insights that people are reticent to divulge, let alone openly discuss...a kind of spiritual nakedness, if you will.

Some writing is close to the bone.

These stories are all true…

I don’t embellish... I don’t explain them… How could I?

I love the vehicle of a true story to motivate, surprise, inspire and teach. The stories are spiritually eclectic with a metaphysical thread that runs throughout.

Sometimes sobering, often madcap and quirky, leaving more questions than answers, seducing the seeker toward freedom, wonder and sacred connection.

When I first started out on substack, I carefully segregated the stories, the medical, etc. from the metaphysical/spiritual, thinking that few people could handle the metaphysical. To my surprise, people were more ready than I had thought. Not everyone, of course, but enough that I stopped pre-judging the audience. Ready or not, it all goes into this stack now. Try it on for size, take what fits, put the others back on the rack.😊)

As always, thanks for reading… Feel free to like, comment, subscribe (free), share and restack…
